Kristen Bell has wowed never to play a victim role. The Heroes star has recently opened up on the roles she’d like to play on the big screen. She said,"I want to play all parts. I'm a very hungry actress. The only thing I consciously avoid is playing the victim. I think women are portrayed as the victim in so many things, and I really like women with strength - although I feel now I may have gone overboard by playing so many strong, sassy women. “ She followed, "Someone once told me it's more important what you turn down than what you take, and I think that rings true, especially when you're trying to make decisions about how you want to be viewed. The 27-year-old remarks that having fun is her priority number one. She explained "… if there's a project that's super-small or low-budget or silly but it happens to have friends involved, I'll always take it, because my number-one priority is that I want to have fun with my career."
Kristen signs on for ‘Couples’ - 2008-10-20
Kristen Bell, Sex and the City’s Kristen David, and Watchmen’s Malin Akerman have joined the comedy ‘Couples.’ In the movie, the ‘Heroes’ hottie will be playing Jason Bateman’s wife, Davis will be playing Jon Favreau's wife and Akerman will be Vince Vaughn’s wife. The film is about four couples, who are working on their marriages and attend couples therapy during their time at a tropical island resort, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Peter Billingsley is at the helm of the project, with a script written by Favreau and Scott Stuber as the producer.

Kristen Bell has opened up about the new season of heroes, saying her character will be exploring her past. The actress says, “When I came onto the scene last year, it was very out of the gates, with a lot of attitude. They had told me her previous back story, but I didn’t really get a chance to show any of that on camera. Clearly, people hurt people and she was very damaged. We are doing a lot of flashbacks now that will give you a lot of insight into the character.” In other news, Kristen has made an ad campaign to encourage people to vote, remaking animals’ rights.
